DOT Downtown Connector Project

Beginning the weekend of March 28-30 the DOT is planning a major repaving project on the downtown connector. This project is scheduled to take eight months to complete and will effect traffic for weekend events at Philips Arena. Beginning at 9:00pm on March 28 through Monday morning (March 31) at 5:00am the three left northbound lanes of the connector will be closed from University Ave to 10th Street. Street Closures

Due to the ongoing cleanup after the storms of March 14-15 several streets in the area surrounding Philips Arena remain closed. Please allow for extra time traveling to and from events at the arena and take the following closures into consideration.

The City of Atlanta will continue to do street and sidewalk closures on an 'as needed' basis during the cleanup. If you are planning to attend and event at Philips Arena and have any questions please call 404-878-3000.
